So after a little hiatus, I'm back - energized, revitalized and ready to conquer the world!
There has been so much going on in my life over the last number of months, including starting a new job, moving two provinces over (which was due to the new job), buying a new house, and moving my family to this new location. So as you can see, there have been a lot of things that have required my immediate attention.
During this time of craziness, the things that I had worked so hard on with my health started to fall through the way-side. I started slipping into previous habits that I had worked so hard to break, and it wasn't long before I started to feel the effects of these poor decisions; tiredness, loss of mental sharpness, loss of motivation to work out, and loss of physical results from the few workouts I was able to motivate myself to do. Considering my profession as a pilot puts a lot of people's lives in my hands, and depends on my ability to think clearly and quickly, the fact that I was chronically tired and not 100% on my game was a problem. It was time for a change. It's interesting you know; when I was on Isagenix product and became used to feeling great, I began to wonder "is this stuff really working or is it just in my head?" I can tell you now without a shadow of a doubt that seeing it definitely DOES work.
So I am back on the band wagon! Since being back on it, I've noticed incredible results that I used to rave about when I first started my health revolution; increased sustained energy throughout the day, increased mental acuity, less moodiness and lows in my moods, I can deal with stress more easily, and there have been huge improvements in my workouts. It is in my workouts where I notice the biggest change. When I was exercising on my own without taking Isagenix, I had a really tough time. I would get tired very easily, could not keep up a consistent routine (felt exhausted, no motivation) and just wasn't having the same results - which was most frustrating! Now being back on the product my workouts are night and day different, my stamina has increased substantially; where I was struggling to run a mile and would be out of breath by the end of it, I'm now running 3.75 miles in a period of about a week. I just want to do more and keep going but I have to tell myself to quit because I don't want to hurt myself. Before, after a run I would need almost a week to recover, and now I am good to go again the next day, crazy!
I've seen both sides of the fence when it comes to being healthy, and it's amazing the difference it makes to be on the smart side. You owe it to yourself and to your body, you won't be sorry, join me today on your own health revolution!

Keep on Truckin'!
Its been a number of days since i last posted, some of you may be wondering how things are going, some may not even care, whatever the case may be i am still going to tell you. :-)
Things are going absolutely fantastic! I feel the best i have ever felt, a completely renewed energy and outlook on life. Since starting my changed lifestyle, I have not gone back to those unhealthy things that i had come so accustomed to enjoying in my previous days. Absolutely no junk food, no chips, cookies, pop, or even coffee; and yes even with it just being Halloween I haven't had a single piece of junk food. The funny thing is, just before i started this journey i thought i was going to miss all things that i had previously enjoyed eating, i can tell you that i don't miss them at all, in fact they almost disgust me now. I find more enjoyment in finding healthy things to eat or consume, especially the Isagenix products. I absolutely love how they make me feel, a more sustained long lasting energy.
Over the last week or so I started running again, it feels good to get back into it again. I should tell you in my previous attempts to running i was plagued with problems and ailments, sore knees, just sore joints over all, and a complete lack of stamina all together. A few days ago i hit the treadmill for the first time, it felt different, something i hadn't ever experienced running. I felt this energy i hadn't experienced running before, i was pushing myself in way i had never been able to do. After the run i felt amazing, still had tons of energy, it didn't wipe me out like past attempts at running. Well let me tell you, the next day I payed the price. I pushed myself way to hard, i was sore! My muscles just ached, it pretty much layed me up in bed for the day. After a few days of rest I attempted it again, again feeling this feeling of increased stamina. This time i took it a bit easier, but the thing is i had to tell myself to stop, i could have kept going for twice the time! After my run i was still feeling fantastic, so i told my boys to get on my back and I would do push-ups, they were just thrilled about that. It was amazing, I haven't been able to do that before. Today i feel fantastic, i could do it all over again. I feel by putting these healthy products in me that it is reducing my recovery time after my workouts. (P.S. I don't have any joint pain anymore!)
I am hooked for life, and so should you!

Day 4,5,6 and 7
So it's been a few days since I last wrote. Such is life when I am away and on call for a week at a time.
Being on this program and with my work, I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be to maintain and stick to it. Surprisingly I have managed to stick to it pretty much 100%, some of my days were a little screwed up time of day wise but over all I am impressed with how easy it was to maintain and stick to it.
Since starting this program less than a week ago I have noticed significant changes in my day to day life. One being no more headaches lol. But seriously I have not had this level of sustained energy since I can remember. I am up after 8 ish hours of sleep and I'm going strong for longer periods of the day than I used to be able to. My days before we're like a roller coaster, ups and downs, peaks and crashes. Now that I have cut all of the crap food out of my diet, pop, chips, coffee, energy drinks, sugary snack foods; i feel fantastic!! I feel energized all day long, balanced, no more tired periods throughout the day. Who knew putting good things into your body would have such an effect on your day to day life. Puts new meaning to you are what you eat haha.
Today I am on my second last day of my 9 day cleanse program. These last two days are strictly cleanse days. It's funny you know, you would think that on these days you would have the least amount of energy. Totally false! I'm finding that on these days I have the most energy, I feel fantastic, and have a mental clarity I have not felt in a long time. Absolutely amazing! Also to note that I have lost 4 pounds through this adventure, which were all first lost on day one!
I love the way I feel, I love being healthy. I wish I had discovered isagenix many years before. I encourage everyone to step up, take control of there lives and start living healthy, it's so worth it and never to late.

Day 2+3
So I guess I'm due for an update. Well I'm done my last of 2 cleanse days as of yesterday, I must say not too bad. I had a pretty good headache the first two days, but too be expected considering I have given up coffee cold turkey! Who knew the body could go through so much withdrawal over a beverage. As well the cleanse day are no where near as frightening as people make them out to be, well let me refraise that, this product doesn't "make it come out like the some of the other products out" there do. Ok I know too much info! In doing this cleanse so far I have lost about 3 lbs and that is according to mr. Scale, all that was done in the first day by the way.
On the third day, that being today, I feel much better, headache is diminishing and I am starting to get my energy back. I was happy I got to consume an actual meal, and a healthy one at that! I was actually excited to make a healthy one. The thing that this program does well is that it teaches you how to live healthy, it gives the building blocks for continued day to day success. For example, they have a detailed regiment for what you should be doing day to day as well as during certain periods of time during the day. Like when to drink water, when to snack, how many calories you should have in a certain meal. And before you know it, you've drunken the recommended amount of water you should be drinking in a day, and you are eating three balanced meals with light snacking done in between. The best part is, it's healthy for you!! This is the best product I have come across, merely for the fact there not just throwing a healthy product at you, there also giving you the tools you need to achieve success. I must say I am extremely excited to continue on this journey of being healthy.

Day 1
So it begins. I went and ordered a bunch of healthy food product, i am committed to this now. Today i woke up and was eager and excited to start this new journey, but i was also a little nervous, not sure what to expect or what kind of results i will see over the next while.
The first couple of days start with cleansing your body of all the harmful crap that has been stored up in your body over time. I was really apprehensive about doing a cleanse, mostly because i thought i would be sitting on a toilet for the entire day, not very appealing to me. I was reassured that this stuff didn't do that, we'll see. Keep in mind from here on in i have committed to giving up coffee, pop and various other junk food in order to help me gain my goals of being healthy.
Today started ok, but a few hours into the day i started to get some pretty good headaches, i'm assuming it was from the coffee i hadn't consumed within minutes of being up. My body is going through withdrawl, great!
I have had a headache pretty much all day now, but i am determined to push through it. I hope the headaches get better tomorrow. Something happened to me that i never expected, i was getting food cravings! That rarely ever happens to me. (keep in mind while on the cleanse your not really consuming any food, just filling it with supplements and lots of water). This was going to be harder than i thought. All of these things that i was used to doing, eating i can't do anymore; changing everything i had been used to doing for so long. It will be difficult to break these habits, but i will push through it.
Today is not too bad, headaches are starting to subside, cravings for food have diminished. Contrary to what people believe about cleanses i have not been bound to the bathroom, intact i haven't even peed all that much today, pretty good i am impressed. we'll see what day 2 of the cleanse has in store for me tomorrow!

The Beginning
So, this is the first time i have ever really done a blog. I am not one to talk much about what is going on in my life, but i think for some reason that this is important and people need to hear the things that i am going to post about, to spark thought, change, and perhaps their own "Health Revolution".
My whole life i have been a pretty active/healthy guy, or maybe perhaps what i considered to be healthy. People would always comment on how i was able to keep thin, i didn't really have to try, in fact i could eat whatever i want and not gain any weight. I also thought that by not being able to gain any weight that i was healthy and could do whatever or put whatever i wanted into my body. This attitude carried on into my 30ties. It is not until now where i am starting to suffer the effects of my poor choices that were made over the last 15+ years.
I feel lately that my body is starting to fail me. I am loosing the energy i once had when i was younger, i have found that i cannot eat whatever i want because i have started to gain a bit of weight now and i am also having digestive issues. When these things start to happen to me it starts to make you think if you are really treating your body the right way or not, things get put into check more quickly when you have kids. Not solely for the fact that you want to be a good example, although that should be incentive enough; but mostly for the fact that you want to be around to be a significant part of their lives, for a long time. So now that i have realized all these things, now what? Now is the time to take control and do something about it.
I recently have gotten reconnected with a long lost high school friend who has introduced me to a product that has not only changed her life from health complications, but also her husband, Mother, Father etc. the list goes on. That much success from a health product, I can't help but give it a try, i owe it to myself, my wife and my kids!
